The Summit at Sunland Springs Hosts "Dementia Q & A Group" 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
No matter what stage your loved one is in you have questions and concerns. Join us for a real conversation about cognitive decline, Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Mild Cognitive Decline.
Part support, part insight... All Real.

Group Leader, Pam Ostrowski, uses her 14-year dementia journey with her parents to be a Dementia guide helping families accept, prepare for, manage, and cope with the challenges, tasks, and decisions that they’ll have to make in the coming years.

The New Memory Cafe' is in conjunction with the City of Mesa and becoming Mesa Friendly. We are offering FREE classes on the 2nd Wednesday's of each month (closed on major holidays) from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
These classes are for family care partners and those living with memory impairment. Join us for a fun, safe, social, and supportive morning. Grab some coffee and a pastry, and then join an engagement activity, or a care partner support group. Our team of community partners and dementia experts are here to support you along your dementia journey.

Are you caring for a loved one who has dementia? Is your own well-being suffering as you tend to the needs of one who needs you? Do you feel overwhelmed, resentful, or alone in your obligation? Duet: Partners In Health & Aging is offering you a new, virtual, evening family caregiver support group to help.
Attending a support group can make all the difference! You will discover that you are not alone as you share camaraderie with others who get what you are going through. Come together to share challenges and frustrations in a safe space, without judgement, as well as discover tips and resources to help you cope. Research indicates that caregivers who participate in support groups benefit from overall improvements in physical and mental health.
This is a virtual support group, so please call Duet before attending a session for the first time to obtain the link. We can also assist you with technical instructions.

ONLINE VIRTUAL ZOOM EVENT
Duet Hosts "New Men's Caregiver Info & Support Group" on 1st Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. This is an online Virtual Zoom Event and Free of charge.
This group will give men who find themselves thrust into becoming a caregiver for a spouse, parent, or other loved one, the opportunity to have a discussion addressing issues they are facing with other men in similar situations.
Sometimes male caregivers have unique challenges they would like to discuss with other men who "get it." You will be guided to resources and learning, coping strategies to bolster your confidence and resilience. Come join us for practical support.
