Royal Oaks President & CEO Kendra Eberhart Announces Her Retirement
Sun City, Ariz.— Royal Oaks today announced the retirement of President & CEO Kendra
Eberhart after 38 years with the organization. Her leadership has been instrumental in
positioning Royal Oaks as Arizona’s premier Life Plan Community, and her legacy will continue to guide the organization as it transitions under the newly formed parent company, Aventur. “I am immensely proud to have been part of Royal Oaks’ journey, building a community rooted in care and connection,” Eberhart said. “Serving our residents and working alongside such a dedicated team has been the honor of a lifetime. While I’ll deeply miss them, I’m excited to see where Aventur’s bold vision takes this organization, and I look forward to cheering on their continued success.”
Eberhart joined Royal Oaks in 1986 with a psychology degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a passion for serving others. She became the President & CEO in 1996, where she carried out the vision of Royal Oaks’ founders — a place where active retirees can relish living life to the fullest while enjoying the security of lifelong care. Residents and her team members have enjoyed her open-door policies and the vibrant social atmosphere she fostered. “Kendra didn’t just build a company; she built a culture — a culture that will continue to inspire us long after her retirement,” said Gretchen Cobb, CEO of Aventur and longtime friend and colleague of Eberhart. “Her vision and dedication have left an incredible mark that has shaped our success and the hearts of every resident and staff member.”
