About Tucson Medical Center
Tucson Medical Center has been Southern Arizona's locally governed nonprofit regional hospital for 75 years. TMC is Southern Arizona’s leading provider for emergency care and pediatric care (including Tucson’s first Pediatric Emergency Department), with top-notch intensive care units for adults, children and newborns. Other specialty areas include women’s, maternity, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neuroscience, hospice, imaging and senior services. TMC HealthCare is the locally governed nonprofit system that includes Tucson Medical Center, TMC Foundation and TMC One primary and specialty care practice.
How Tucson Medical Center helps Seniors
A distinguishing feature of TMC over the years has been its buildings and grounds spread over 120 acres. Most patient rooms are private with a view, either a sun-drenched patio or a vista of mountains and distant horizons.
Tucson Medical Center is a tobacco-free organization and is committed to promoting good health, wellness and disease prevention for our patients, the community and our employees. For this reason, we have implemented a tobacco-free campus and prohibit the use of smoking and tobacco products on all of our TMC campuses, offsite offices and outpatient centers.
