About Seniors Helping Seniors®

We are excited to announce the opening of our Catalina Foothills territory! Seniors Helping Seniors® Southern Arizona now provides services across the full breadth of Southern Arizona — from the Catalina Saddlebrook area and the Catalina Foothills through Tucson, south to Nogales, east to Safford and Douglas, and all the way to the New Mexico border.

At Seniors Helping Seniors®, we believe that the best care comes from those who truly understand the journey of aging. Our unique approach to in-home care connects active seniors with those who need assistance, creating meaningful relationships that go far beyond traditional caregiving. Founded on the principle that life experience is invaluable, we match clients with caregivers who share similar backgrounds, interests, and life perspectives, fostering genuine companionship alongside professional care.

Our comprehensive services are designed to help seniors maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. We provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and assistance with activities of daily living. What sets us apart is that these services are delivered by caregivers who are seniors themselves—typically ranging from 45 to 75 years old—bringing wisdom, patience, and genuine understanding to every interaction.

The difference in our caregivers is profound. Our senior caregivers relate to our receivers of care as peers, not clients. They’ve navigated similar life challenges, understand the importance of maintaining routines and independence, and approach care with the respect and dignity they would want for themselves. This peer-to-peer model creates natural conversations, shared experiences, and often lifelong friendships that enrich both the caregiver’s and care receiver’s lives.

Led by an owner who personally experienced both exceptional and disappointing caregiving services while caring for his own parents, Seniors Helping Seniors® is committed to providing the level of compassionate, respectful care that every family deserves. Our industry-leading caregiver retention rate ensures consistency and continuity of care, allowing deep, trusting relationships to develop over time. When you choose Seniors Helping Seniors®, you’re not just hiring a caregiver—you’re welcoming a friend who understands.

Flexible Companion & Personal Care — No Long-Term Contracts Required

Sometimes all it takes is a few hours a week to make a real difference. Our companion and personal care services are built around your loved one's actual needs, not a rigid contract. Whether it's help with daily routines, personal care, or simply having someone friendly to talk to, families can start small and adjust as needs change — without being locked into a long-term commitment.

Hospital-to-Home Care — Support Through Every Step of Recovery

The transition from hospital to home after surgery is one of the most vulnerable times in a recovery journey. Our short-term hospital-to-home care provides hands-on support exactly when it's needed most — helping with mobility, medications, and daily routines — without requiring families to sign up for care beyond what the recovery actually calls for. As your loved one regains strength and independence, care can scale down just as easily as it scaled up.

Respite Care — A Break for the Ones Who Give So Much

Caring for a loved one is a full-time act of love, but even the most devoted family caregiver needs rest. Our respite care gives families the flexibility to step away for a few hours, an overnight, or an entire weekend, knowing their loved one is in caring, capable hands. There's no long-term obligation — just the freedom to use respite care exactly when you need it, so you can return to caregiving feeling recharged.

What Clients Say about Seniors Helping Seniors®

"I can't say enough about the caregivers who have been with my mother over the past year. They aren't just doing a job — they genuinely care. They remember the things she loves to talk about, they're patient with her on hard days, and they treat her with so much dignity and respect. Watching how gentle and attentive they are with her has given our whole family so much peace of mind. We feel like we found the right people, not just a service. Mom is at home where she wants to be and Seniors Helping Seniors is there every day supporting her getting out of bed and personal needs as well as wonderful cooks and companions."

"From the very first phone call, I could tell this was a different kind of company. We had called multiple companies, some seemed stressed just to take our call and we felt rushed. The office team at Seniors Helping Seniors didn't just answer my questions — they listened. They took the time to understand our specific situation and never made me feel rushed or like just another case. Then when we met our caregiver it was evident how much the office listened; Raquel was perfect and has become part of the family. Every time I've called Seniors Helping Seniors office since, whether it was a scheduling change or just a concern I had, they've responded with so much warmth and patience. It's clear this team genuinely cares about the families they serve, not just the caregiving itself. "

A Daughter's Story "When it came time to find care for my mother, I didn't know where to start — the options felt overwhelming, and I was worried about making the wrong choice. There were so many options and everyone we talked to seemed to say the same thing. What made the difference with Seniors Helping Seniors was that the owner had walked this exact road himself with his own mother. He understood, in a way that felt personal and empathized with what I was going through. He didn't just sell me a service — he sat with me in the hard, uncertain part of the decision. He shared what his experiences were and why the caregiver recruitement and training at Seniors Helping Seniors are designed to address the challenges he and his sisters experienced with caring for their mother. Knowing the person leading this company had lived through the same fear and love I was feeling made me trust them with my mother's care in a way I don't think I would have otherwise."
