New owner Jordana Masserman is a veteran in the home care field, with over 10 years of owning and operating Preferred Care at Home of Westchester and Putnam in New York. She brings her fresh face and care focused experience to the great Southwest! Jordana purchased Preferred Care at Home of East Valley in January of 2023 and quickly added Preferred Care at Home of Tucson in March. As she and her husband Dan continue to expand and shift focus to a high level of care and client services, they bring a “second to none” mentality that has helped them reach the top in New York. With attention to their employees and staff as well, they are showing that they are an amazing place to work and have brought on a team you can trust to care for your loved ones. “As an entrepreneur there is no greater reward than running a successful business where the community is able to benefit from our services firsthand and at the same time, we can give something back and be an active community member.” While the name might have been built and operated before they arrived, they are here to change course and show the new direction and future is positive and bright.

Preferred Care at Home is a non-medical in-home senior care agency that helps people with activities of daily living including but not limited to companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, personal care assistance and more. Our goal is to help seniors age in place with dignity and grace. We do that by providing reliable, dependable caregivers who help safeguard your independence and keep you in your home or wherever you call home. Our smooth transition program is another exciting new addition to the market. The program consists of a caregiver picking up the client to safely transition them home. It can be from a general hospital discharge, post operative care, rehab or other facility. We include 4 hours of service which includes transportation home, shopping or medication pick up, light housekeeping and preparing a meal. We are committed to finding the best solution that helps individuals focus on getting better as they transition back into their home and daily routine.
