About Good Samaritan Society – Legacy Home Health

A helping hand to get you back to the life you remember.

As we get older, we learn to deal with new aches and pains. Some are bigger than others. But when health concerns start to threaten whether you can continue to stay in your home, it’s time to consider home health from Good Samaritan Society – Legacy Home Care.

Home health services are medical services given by registered nurses, therapists and aides in the place you call home. After a surgery, illness or new diagnosis, physical therapists may help you gain ability while occupational therapists teach you to take care of your daily needs and maneuver throughout your home. Nurses can help you manage your medications and create achievable goals.

Typically, a caregiver will begin services within 24-48 hours and only stay about an hour or two. Most clients only need home health for a month or two. You can discontinue services at any time. Your goals are our goals. Throughout your journey with us, we’ll continue to follow up with your physician and keep you as the driver of your care. You should not expect any surprises. A home health nurse or therapist will meet with you to make sure you’re feeling good with your quality of care and progress.

We are a faith-based organization, believing “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.” It is important to us that you feel loved, valued and at peace with your care. We make it easy. As part of a large network of care, we understand how to navigate the healthcare world and have many resources and tools to utilize. Whether it’s helping you coordinate eligibility with your physician, determine Medicare and other payment options or acquire additional services, you’ll benefit from our history of professional, quality services.
