A Better Way to Donate

Bright Bioservices is a no-cost, whole-body, non-transplant tissue bank serving most of Arizona. We focus on recovering tissue for disease research and advancing medicine through local, innovative surgical education. We work with donors and their families to register potential donors for whole-body donation after death. Once the donation is complete, we return the cremated remains in a respectful urn along with a detailed summary of use letter to loved ones at no cost.

We strive to maximize the gift of donation for disease research as our priority.

95% of all whole-body donations are not used for disease research because these donations are time-sensitive, logistically difficult, and technically demanding. Instead, all donor programs use the vast majority of their donors for medical education. Bright Bioservices is specifically designed to accept registered donors for disease research if they arrive at our facility within 8-12 hours of death.

We have dedicated staff standing by 24/7 to ensure the gift is recovered for matched projects and/or for future use.

Bright Bioservices will do everything they can to ensure the gift is matched with the research that honors the donor’s wishes. We have also partnered with a qualified surgical education network, with facilities located throughout the United States, to maximize the gift once the disease research recovery is complete.
