The Margaret T. Morris Center

The Margaret T. Morris Center, established in 1999, is Northern Arizona's only assisted living community dedicated solely to dementia care. We have served hundreds of people and their families living with Alzheimer's disease, other forms of dementia and mild cognitive impairment and memory loss.

Our 57 bed residential/assisted living community is dedicated solely to people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other related dementias. MTM provides a unique, safe environment with care and services overseen by a medical director, RN’s and highly trained professional care partners. The residents reside in neighborhoods with comfortable living areas where they participate in activities of daily living. Strong emphasis is placed on recreation activities and all levels of personal care. We offer generous indoor and outdoor spaces.

We provide excellent healthcare for each resident. Our medical team is made up of Medical Director Dr. Kara Johnson who makes rounds twice per week and is on-call 24/7. She supports our philosophy of the least amount of medication possible to support the best quality of life.

Our registered nurse works full-time and is on-call 24/7. Along with Dr. Johnson, the registered nurse manages your loved one's well-being. Our caregivers are certified through the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Managers in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
