Duet's Meaning & Hope Institute "Traumatic Brain Injury & Dementia Virtual Seminar"
Duet’s Meaning & Hope Institute is hosting a virtual webinar with Dr. Patricio Reyes to discuss traumatic brain injury and dementia, and give important guidance for family caregivers on Wed., Feb. 15 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Reyes is the Chief of Neurology at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and a member of the Meaning & Hope Institute’s National Advisory Council. His long-standing participation with the Retired NFL Players Association, and the Association of Ringside Physicians, has given him firsthand experience with the dangers of contact sports and the support that caregivers of injured players need.
He is available for in-studio or zoom interviews to preview the event and discuss:
- Caregiver tips for tending to a loved one with TBI or dementia
- Self-care reminders for the family caregivers
- Causes of TBI and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease
The webinar is free to attend and will take place Wed., Feb. 15 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. To register visit, meaningandhope.org/webinar. Dr. Reyes will take questions from patients and caregivers, and share information about new clinical trials and approval of new drugs for Alzheimer’s.

Kinship Care Services is partnering with DES to present information on obtaining child support benefits, eligibility requirements, the process and next steps in this Virtual Webinar on Thursday, February 16th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
